Mike was born in Transconia, Manitoba and Moved to Ottawa in 1976.
He attended St Pius x High School – then to Algonquin College.
Married to his Wife Tracey & they have 3 children. 
Has worked in the funeral service industry for 26 years as a Funeral Directors Assistant and will be attening Humber College in Fall of 2019 to become a licensed Funeral Director.
Part of ” Proud To Be Me “. A Youth charity that deals with bullying in our communities.

He also initiated Reach Up Ottawa , a local mental health charity focusing on teenagers and young adults.
Involved with Partners for Mental Health, a national charity where he served as the Ottawa chapter Chairperson.
Michael has spoken to House of Commons and Provincial legislative committees concerning mental health issues in our country. Futhermore, the need for governments to treat it has a rising problem in our schools workplaces cities and towns.
Michael is currently on the volunteer events board with the Royal Ottawa hospital.

Mel was born in Ottawa, Ontario with immediate family from Renfrew county and the Ottawa valley.
Attended All Saints CHS, Algonquin for Red Seal Hairstyling Certificate, Humber College for Funeral Directing/Embalming.
She is a self-taught make up artist with special dedication to restorative, special FX and prosthetic work.

Full time Funeral Director/Embalmer at Hulse, Playfair and McGarry Funeral Home in Ottawa.

A Maritimer at heart, Jason got into the funeral industry through a combination of theatre and serving those who are hurting.
Jason enjoys martial arts, writing, and performing in front of groups. 

Jason is a Funeral Director here in Ottawa. Although he’s newer to the profession, it didn’t take long in his apprenticeship to realize that some of the people who were hurting most were working alongside him; when he was approached to help start this group, therefore, he was quick to oblige.
